We are all volunteers ready to help our neighbors.  We respond to 911 fire and medical emergencies, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, every day of the year.  Our Volunteer Fire & Rescue Company is active throughout the community in many obvious—and not so obvious—ways.


All you Can Eat Breakfast, Saturday, September 19: Breakfast with all you can eat of biscuits, gravy, pancakes, scrambled eggs, hash browns, bacon, sausage and baked apples or fruit. Coffee and juice included 7 – 11 am
Welcome also the Rough Riders Bike Ride. Washington will host the ride on our grounds. Lunch will also be served the riders. Should be a fun day for all.

OYSTER and HAM Dinner – October 10 (note date change) 4-8 pm. Includes Oysters – fried, stewed and raw. Ham – country and baked. Vegetables – Mashed potatoes, green beans, etc. rolls, coffee, Iced tea, lemonade and water. Deserts – cakes, pies, cookies, brownies. Come join us for a great community gathering and eat your fill. A 50/50 raffle will continue throughout the Dinner so you may also win some money. $25 adult $12 Child 10 and under.

Texas Hold’em November 7, doors open at 3 pm and first cards dealt at 4 pm. Like to play cards, good at Texas Hold’em. Come show your skill. Top prizes are 3 guns donated by Union Market First Bank through The Trading Post both of Washington, VA. 1st Prize = Savage Axis 25-06 with scope. 2nd Prize = Mossberg 500 12 guage with Turkey Thug Choke Tube. 3rd Prize = Remington 597 22 LR with scope. Prizes 4 – 12 are donated items from local businesses so come and have fun and perhaps win a prize with your card playing skills. $50 buy in to play.
